1 lb. of whole wheat penne pasta
2 crowns of broccoli, cut into florets
1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
1 small onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 pint of cherry tomatoes cut in halves

In a saute pan cook the onions and garlic in extra virgin olive until golden. Then, add the cherry tomatoes and cook down for 5 minutes. Add salt & pepper and 1 half of the pasta water. Set aside.
Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water. After the pasta has been boiling add the cauliflower and the broccoli. Cook another 4 minutes. Strain the pasta and pour into a mixing bowl.
